Photos on the site range from 1870's to the 1980's and photos of all buses are included in the appropriate collection. All photos have been scanned in from prints, so the quality may be lower than others. These photos on this site have been purchased from stalls with no copyright, and also been handed down through family generations.

North East Bus Photos was formed in June 2008 by John Soutar taken over from the previous owners which was from 2007.
You cannot right-click on photos on this site for copyright issues. As well as this, we will not send additional copies of images out and the original image button has been disabled. We will however send out a copyright free edition of a photo if a very good reason is given or if it is for a Preservation Trust or an Enthausiast group.
Feel free to leave comments, but they are heavily moderated and any daft comments from small minded idiots will be deleted and may result in the comment box being closed.
Quite a few photos from North East Bus Photos have appeared on Jeff's Bus Lane and Buses magazine. Photos have also been used by various companies for promotional events and also not neccessary of those of "Good Old Days" site.
CHANGES TO GOOD OLD DAYS SITE - There has been several changes to the Good Old Days site, and some items require explaining.
1 - We have to remove majority of the collections within this site after a request in relation to copyright, we at North East Bus Photos always said upon a single request the collections has to go and this has happened.
2 - In relation to the point above, and the problems we have had with certain people in relation to our North East Sites over the last month has created a harsh decision to also remove the images, that we clearly explained that were not ours, we now taken the measures to ensure our own personal collection is on the site under control of North East Bus Photos and Regional Bus Photos incorporating Coolfirm Bus Photos.
3 - We are however over impressed that a collection that was going to be shown for 4 to 8 weeks ended open for months, and after around 55870 people viewed the site and some left excellent comments (see point 4 below), we are as equal devasted to the need of removing such fine collection of images, we are hoping of course to get some of the mback on at a later date.
4 - Sadly and we mean sadly the excellent comments that are attached to the images that has to be removed will be lost, we are extremely sorry for those who spent the time and effort to put such wonderful comments on our site and intrudigate more interest from more people, we have still have some hopes many people still view this site in time t o come.
5 We are as stated in our comments section if anyone wishes to submit their own personal collection to show permanently or even a set time say a month or two months or even six months and or longer, we are happy to hear from you, please email us at the email address in the email us box.
6 - We hope you will contimue to support our sites and please keep checking as we are developing more sites in the next year or so, and if anyone has any ideas for us in relation to this or any other sites please let usk know and we be happy to listen and read ideas.

You cannot buy photos direct from the site and you will need to contact us by using the "leave a message" box on the site. We sell photos as prints and on discs. We are very cheap and keep prices down to a minimum where we can. We charge on the basis of how many you buy, the more you buy the cheaper it becomes. Many people have bough photos off us and so far they have all been very happy with the service we offer.
